Michael McCurdy’s career in the financial services industry spans over 30 years. While being a successful strategic financial advisor Mike has also enjoyed coaching, managing and mentoring business owners to take their performance to the next level. His unique approach empowers his clients to achieve their goals and be in control of their financial roadmap.
Mike earned his degree in Business and Recreation from the University of Idaho on a football and baseball scholarship. Having distinguished himself as a gifted and competitive athlete, he played semi-pro football in the Pacific Northwest, managed an athletic club, and became co-owner of a local retail store. In 1984 he transitioned his career into financial services, becoming a leading advisor while building and managing a very successful regional network of eight offices for Transamerica Financial Services. He transitioned out of Transamerica in 2009 and has held several roles including Chief Financial Officer for a financial transaction platform company, Chief Executive Officer for a software company in the health care industry, Trustee for a private non-profit organization, and Manager for a supply chain logistics company.
Mike and his wife Deborah enjoy spending time with their four grown sons and three grandkids. Outdoor activities, whether hunting, fishing, hiking or camping are where Mike strives to spend his spare time. Helping his clients achieve, maintain and thrive with financial independence is Mikes top priority and he looks forward to each opportunity to help a new client.
